BOY tells a story of friendship and curiosity. Tom Scott follows Neil Phillips across two decades of school leadership — from an elite private campus to a public Title I charter he co-founded and led — as he works to tell a new story of what's possible for Black boys in America.
Produced with The Nantucket Project, the film pairs Neil's journey with students, families, and educators who share it, with Tom's obsession to understand more - some of which he can, some of which he can't.
